A CONCRETE CUT HOUSE FOR THE #ABOVAV MODERN MAN

8.3

Formed by three rectangular prisms stacked on top of one another, the Concrete Cut House by Pitsou Kedem Architects appears as though it’s built from a continuous line of concrete — hence the name. The two-story main living space is surrounded by glass panels, letting the it flow naturally into the garden and pool area, while two separate staircases give access to the children’s living area downstairs and the upper levels that house the bedrooms. Stark white cabinetry in the kitchen sets the stage for equally spartan decor throughout the Israeli home, letting the various plantlife and wall of media storage provide splashes of color.
